You’ve almost certainly heard about Reddit’s most downvoted comment in the history of the site by now. It was made by an Electronic Arts employee in relation to the loot box/microtransaction controversy surrounding Star Wars: Battlefront II . That comment has now been made to last forever, and patched into the game via a mod available on Nexus Mods.
Thanks to Dareedevokl, anyone with masochistic tendencies (or a twisted sense of humor) can stare down the most downvoted comment every time they look at a loot box. Yes, this mod is for Star Wars: Battlefront II ‘s loot boxes, and slaps one of the most memorable parts of the comment on the side. It reads in bright yellow Star Wars font, “PRIDE AND ACCOMPLISHMENT.”
This is of course taken from the first sentence of the awful Reddit comment, “The intent is to provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking different heroes.” If you’re interested in including this terrible reminder in your copy of Star Wars: Battlefront II , you can download it from Nexus Mods .
