Everyone can (briefly) calm down for a bit. Nintendo has announced the next Nintendo Direct, and it’s not branded as a “mini.” The next full Nintendo Direct presentation will be aired tomorrow, March 8, 2018 at 2 PM PT/5 PM ET. It’s set to run for half an hour, and cover 3DS and Switch software.
As is usual with Nintendo Direct announcements, there’s no telling what’s going to be featured unless Nintendo lays it out explicitly. There’s no window of time here, just “upcoming” software. However, Mario Tennis Aces is named, which likely means part of the 30 minutes will be a breakdown of modes and features in Nintendo’s usual style.
What else? Plenty of Switch games have been announced that haven’t been released yet. There’s the soon-coming Kirby Star Allies and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze , as well as plenty of games that have been announced without release dates. And maybe, just maybe, we’ll get something on that dang Diablo III .
