Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Goes Multiplatform

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Goes Multiplatform

After a period of PlayStation 4 exclusivity, the well-received remaster collection, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy , is coming to other platforms. Initially announced for the Nintendo Switch during the March 8, 2018 Nintendo Direct presentation, Activision sent out a press release confirming the title is also landing on Xbox One and Steam.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy , which contains the first three games in the Crash Bandicoot series, will launch for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam on July 10, 2018, for the same price as the game is currently on PlayStation 4: $39.99. As pointed out by the press release, this is the first time the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy has appeared on non-PlayStation platforms and the first time the character has appeared at all on PC.

This is almost entirely the same version as the PlayStation 4 version, with the ability to play as Coco, along with the new save and checkpoint systems. The only difference, as was noticed by fans during the Nintendo Direct, is that a few small nods to original developer Naughty Dog, such as a tiny Nathan Drake cameo, have been removed.
