Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Delayed to May

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Delayed to May

Pillars of Eternity fans and Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire crowdfunding backers have reason to feel a bit let-down today. Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire has in fact been delayed from its original April 3, 2018 release date. The game will now be releasing on May 8, 2018. This might be a bit sad, but the delay has apparently come with good reason.

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire developers have revealed that they are taking all of the feedback from the Backer Beta and implementing it into the game. They’ve undoubtedly collected a ton of information and gotten plenty of ideas on how they can improve Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire . As much as it’s a shame that we have to wait, the title should be better.

In an attempt to make everyone feel better about this short little delay, Obsidian Entertainment has stated that all kinds of reveals will be happening in the coming weeks. Their hope is that the additional information and closer looks at the game will appease everyone. Keep an eye out for all kinds of Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire news between now and May.
