Sega Announces Sonic Mania Plus at SXSW

Sonic Mania Plus also boosts the competition mode up to four players. The new physical release (the original Sonic Mania was digital-only) features both a holographic slip cover and reversible art featuring alternate art based on old Sega Genesis/Mega Drive covers. A 32-page art book is also included. Sonic Mania Plus will costs $29.99, and owners of the original game will also be able to upgrade, although the price for that has not been announced.
