New Gundam Breaker Releases on June 22

New Gundam Breaker Releases on June 22

With a new trailer showing off more gameplay, environments, and somehow adorable, little robot pieces mixing together, Bandai Namco has finally announced a release date for New Gundam Breaker , the North American debut of the “Gunpla” action series.

New Gundam Breaker will be releasing on June 22, 2018. Not only is the release date out in the wild now, but also Bandai Namco sneakily revealed we’re getting a PC version in addition to the expected PlayStation 4 release. Cool!

The footage in the trailer is captured from the Japanese build of New Gundam Breaker , so we don’t have a good look at the localization yet. However, we do get tastes of new content, including how customization works for your mobile suit, as well as a look at a mobile armor from the latest Gundam series, Iron-Blooded Orphans .

New Gundam Breaker may look like a typical Gundam action game, but the hook of the series is that it’s actually based on Gunpla, or the ever-popular Gundam model kits. This explains all the part swaping, as well as all the goofy level settings, including what looks like a bunch of model kits battling it out on the floor of a hobby shop.
