Dragon Ball FighterZ Leading in Evo 2018 Registrations

Dragon Ball FighterZ Leading in Evo 2018 Registrations

Depending on your perspective, this bit of news is either a big surprise, or has been a foregone conclusion since January 2018. Either way, it seems like the biggest game at Evo 2018 is set to be Dragon Ball FighterZ , if early registration numbers are any indication.

Evo co-founder Joey Cuellar took to Twitter , to drop the “Evo 2018 Leaderboard,” or the rankings of each game based on the current number of registrants. These, mind, are rankings based only on the early bird registrations, which closed on March 31. Normal registration will be on through the summer, leading up to the event in early August.

The rankings, in order from top to bottom, are Dragon Ball FighterZ, Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, Tekken 7, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, and Injustice 2 . While the ranking list doesn’t give any numbers, Cuellar did drop the information that Dragon Ball FIghterZ currently has a “big lead” over Street Fighter .
