Firewatch Coming to Nintendo Switch

Campo Santo, an independent developer co-founded by Sean Vanaman of Telltale’s The Walking Dead fame, announced that its hit debut title, Firewatch , is making its way to the Nintendo Switch this year, sometime in the next few months.

Firewatch is a story set in 1989, that follows the protagonist as he takes a summer job to spot for fires in a Wyoming forest. There he meets Delilah, who is your main point of human contact throughout the adventure. Firewatch went on to be a big success, winning awards and eventually being optioned for a movie adaptation.

The announcement on Campo Santo’s website reads, “Imagine: The sounds of a babbling brook, a cool mountain breeze blowing through the timber. And in your hands, your trusty Nintendo Switch.” The announcement doesn’t include a release date, but it does say that Firewatch is coming to the Switch this coming spring.

Campo Santo’s next game is called In the Valley of the Gods , which is current set for a PC release in 2019.
