SNK 40th Anniversary Collection Coming to Switch

SNK is turning the big 4-0 this year, and they’re looking to celebrate. SNK 40th Anniversary Collection has been announced at PAX East 2018, and will be releasing some time this fall on the Nintendo Switch. There’s also going to be a limited edition for super fans that will include a book and a soundtrack CD.

A bevy of games that will be included in the 40th Anniversary Collection have already been announced. They are as follows:

  • Alpha Mission (arcade and home versions)
  • Athena (arcade/home)
  • Crystalis
  • Ikari Warriors (arcade/home)
  • Ikari III: The Rescue (arcade/home)
  • Guerrilla War (arcade/home)
  • P.O.W. (arcade/home)
  • Prehistoric Isle in 1930
  • Psycho Soldier
  • Street Smart
  • TNK III (arcade/home)
  • Vanguard
  • Victory Road (arcade/home)

All of the games in SNK 40th Anniversary Collection will be playable in 1080p, have a save option, and the ability to use cheats if the players so choose. There will also be a SNK Museum Mode that will allow players to view original artwork and assets.

Just a reminder, the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection will be releasing on Nintendo Switch systems everywhere in the fall of this year.
