Man Dons a Plastic Bag for a GameStop Break-in

Man Dons a Plastic Bag for a GameStop Break-in

Sometimes things get reported in the world of gaming news, not because they’re new announcements or stories that have relevant repercussions, but because somehow video games are tangentially involved in something silly. This is one of those times. A Georgia news outlet reported a recent GameStop break-in, which by itself isn’t super remarkable. But what makes this absolutely worth a look is the perp’s inspired wardrobe choice.

In perfectly fuzzy security cam footage, we see a man tear across the Nintendo Switch shelf at what can only be full speed, before crouching down out of frame to pick up a replica Deadpool NERF gun or assault a pile of unsold Funko POPs. We also see his foolproof burglar guise, which is neither ski mask not hosiery. Instead he appears to be wearing the remains of a plastic water bottle case on his head, totally not hiding his face at all.

Also, in the effort it took to kick the door open, homeboy appears to have ripped the seam of his pants open. Sorry to make fun of you like this, odd GameStop thief, but really you mostly played yourself here.
