For the first time since E3 2015, Square Enix will be airing a presentation of its own at E3. But this time, it will be more like a Nintendo Direct. An FAQ and countdown were posted by the company today, stating that “we’ll connect you to the many worlds within our universe.”
The Square Enix E3 Showcase 2018 will air on Monday, June 11 at 10AM PT, and it will be previously recorded content rather than a live conference-style briefing. It will stream on Facebook, Mixer, Twitch, Twitter, and YouTube.
Obviously, there are a lot of questions swirling around Square Enix’s planned output. Between Kingdom Hearts III, Final Fantasy VII Remake, and the Avengers game, there are a lot of opportunities for the company to show off what its developers have been working on. There’s also plenty of space for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Life is Strange, Dragon Quest XI, and any other surprises the publisher has cooking.
