Destiny 2 is certainly not a game for everyone and, shortly after launch, it received a good deal of criticism. However, much to the developer’s credit, the game continues to grow. Bungie has revealed on their official site details about the upcoming Crucible Labs mode.
“Crucible Labs will give every player of Destiny 2 access to experimental PvP content,” says design lead Derek Carrol. This is a good thing because experimentation is one of the ways games continue to grow. Developers seem to constantly discover surprising new things that player’s enjoy this way.
Currently, not much is known about Crucible but more details will be revealed prior to the upcoming 1.2.1 update that is set to launch on May 29 th . Beyond this update, players can expect the game to continuously change through updates and expansions. More changes are slated for September, as of this posting. So here’s to updates and iterative improvements that extend the lifespan of a game.
