Fortnite Battle Royale may be about to see the addition of its first vehicle. However, “vehicle” is a bit of a stretch. It’s a thing you can sit in and it has wheels, but it sure isn’t a car.
The New Updates section in Fortnite right now has an honest to goodness shopping cart listed as “coming soon.” There’s not a whole lot else to it, but it does imply up to two people can “roll into battle” in the thing.
Before this shopping cart, there hasn’t been anything resembling a vehicle in Fortnite Battle Royale , outside of the bus at the beginning. Meawhile, games like PUBG have had cars for a while, and Call of Duty Black Ops 4 ’s Blackout mode with have land, air, and sea vehicles. So in typical, silly Fortnite fashion, the first vehicle being a dinky, little shopping cart fits the mood pretty well.
Typically, items teased in the updates section don’t stay there long, so while Epic has been quiet about the shopping cart, we’ll probably be able to give it a whirl sooner rather than later.
