3 Rockstar Games Now Backwards Compatibility on Xbox One

Backwards compatibility on the Xbox One offers gamers the convenience of playing old games on their new system which means they don’t have to hook up their Xbox 360 or original Xbox. Heck, they don’t have to own one of those systems at all. Unfortunately, not all titles are supported. Fortunately, the library of compatible titles is constantly expanding. Soon, gamers will be able to play Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Midnight Club: Los Angeles, and Rockstar Games Presents: Table Tennis.

All three of these games were made by Rockstar Games, and each of them is a quality title in its own right. San Andreas is a dramatic title with a poignant story, Midnight Club: Los Angeles is a finely tuned racer with a wide array of vehicles, and Rockstar Games Presents: Table Tennis is a surprisingly well-made game about ping pong.

In terms of San Andreas, both the 360 and original version will be backwards compatible. It also doesn’t matter if you own the physical or digital version of the game; you’ll still be able to play. All of these games will be available starting June 7.
