Battlefield V Airborne Mode Revealed

Battlefield V Airborne Mode Revealed

Battlefield V has certainly found its place in the news lately, having released a wealth of details this month. Among them is the fact that the game won’t include loot boxes, which is newsworthy because the publisher, EA, had dealt with controversy over the unfair practices included in its other game, Star Wars: Battlefront 2. There has also been speculation about new modes, and now one of these modes has been announced.

Entitled Airborne! The multiplayer mode will be objective-based, beginning with players parachuting into the battlefield and then moving onto destroying and defending points on the map. The tweet from the official Twitter account for Battlefield V also mentions a threat from above which could refer to aerial combat. It is unclear at this point.

Further speculation has revolved around the possible inclusion of a battle royale mode, in the style of Fortnite or PuBG. Those rumors may be entirely false and further speculation about the battle royale mode based on this mode’s presence of parachuting should, perhaps, be tempered. Although, I have to admit that this mode seems like it could eventually be modified into a battle royale type mode, even though Battlefield is traditionally known for team based combat.
