It seems to be the month of leaks, considering the new Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, Pokemon Let’s Go, Eevee! and Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu! leaks amongst others. Now Io Interactive’s series, Hitman, might be adding to it, due to a potential leak of Hitman 2.
A logo which looks like a very convincing logo for Hitman 2 was found on the Warner Bros Games Live website soon after the company entered into a publishing deal with Io Interactive, who was previously working with Square Enix. If it is, indeed, a proper leak, it isn’t an overly surprising one, considering that the CEO of IO Interactive has stated that they were working on a new title. The official Twitter account for Hitman also teased a new announcement which should reveal details on June 7, 2018.
The first Hitman in the rebooted series was a surprisingly precise feeling game that added to the thrill with free content where players had one chance to hunt down a target without being killed or caught. It was also episodic. Hopefully that trend continues with the sequel.
