Dragon Ball FighterZ Comes to the Switch on September 28

Dragon Ball FighterZ Comes to the Switch on September 28

During the E3 Nintendo Direct, a Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ was announced, but without a release date. Today, Bandai Namco has announced that Arc System Works’ amazing fighting game is coming on September 28 in North America. The publisher also announced a neat pre-order bonus.

Pre-order the Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ , and you’ll be entitled to a download code for Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden , a Super Famicom game that originally released in Japan in 1993. It also made it to France and Spain, but was never localized for North America. This download of the game won’t be localized either, but as a 2D fighting game it’s hardly necessary.

This is a similar tactic to when Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden released for the 3DS. Pre-ordering that game came with a download for the sequel, Super Butoden 2 . It’s worth noting that was never released separately, so if you don’t get your Switch pre-order in, you might miss out on the bonus for good. The pre-order also nets players an early unlock for the Super Saiyan Blue versions of Goku and Vegeta.
