Hearthstone Expansion Boomsday Project Leaked

Hearthstone Expansion Boomsday Project Leaked

Blizzard’s next Hearthstone expansion leaked early, as an announcement video was accidentally posted ahead of schedule on YouTube. The expansion is called Boomsday Project , which fans are liking to the game’s original expansion, Goblins vs Gnomes due to its focus on Mech cards and unique mechanics.

While the official card reveals are set to start on July 23, 2018, a few cards are now out in the open. A new keyword called Magnetic is a big part of the expansion, which requires players to have additional Mech cards out on the field for activation. One example allows a card to destroy a random enemy minion upon activation. New Legendary spell cards are also being introduced.

Players will be able to preorder a 50-card pack like usual for expansions. However, players will also be able to preorder a new kind of 80-card pack, which will come with both a Golden Legendary, as well as Mecha-Jarxus, which is an alternate Hero portrait for Warlocks.
