“Dynamic Faction Wars” Announced for The Division 2

“Dynamic Faction Wars” Announced for The Division 2

According to an interview given to GamingBolt by Chadi El-Zibaoui, Ubisoft’s Associate Creative Director on The Division 2 , we now know that the upcoming game will have something called “dynamic faction wars.” El-Zibaoui says that the dynamic content in the game is part of what they call a “living world.”

By this, El-Zibaoui means that The Division 2 ’s factions and civilians all require resources like food, water, and medicine. Factions will fight one another for control of “resource control points.” This should, theoretically, provide a “lot of content to the world.”

This isn’t the only bit of information gleaned from the interview, however. We also know that the an emphasis will be placed on the survivors living in the Washington D.C. setting. Solo play will also be facilitated and the endgame content, a point of criticism in the original The Division , will also be revised.

Gamers will be able to see all of this in action when The Division 2 releases on March 15, 2019 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
