New Microsoft System Might Be Focused on Streaming

As tradition dictates, gamers are frantically trying to imagine what is on the horizon when it comes to the next generation of consoles. For now, we know very little. We have heard that Microsoft will be referring to their next console as Scarlett. Now, we might have gotten a hint about what Microsoft plans to do with Scarlett.

A website called Thurott says that Microsoft has two pieces of hardware in store for consumers. One is very traditional and similar to what we are used to with the Xbox One, although the specs are entirely unknown at this point. The other piece of hardware is designed for streaming with something purportedly called “Scarlett Cloud.”

The article also says that Microsoft is planning to derive a bulk of its revenue from subscription services and that both of these pieces of hardware are expected to come out at some poin in 2020. If all that is true, it’s looking like there might be a big change in how we approach gaming right around the corner.
