Earlier this week, there was some positivity in the world of Fortnite and Slurp Juice, with changes coming to the item that would make it much more beneficial overall. Unfortunately, players found a glitch with the beloved drink. It made Slurp Juice far more powerful than it has any right to be. Rather than allowing the Slurp Juice to continue wreaking havoc on the game, Epic Games has opted to remove it until further notice.
Essentially, players discovered that if they cancelled the Slurp Juice drinking animation, they would not only gain the normal, restorative effect, but also keep the item in their inventory. This would allow for bottomless Slurp Juice. In a game that’s supposed to have limited healing resources, that’s a huge problem.
Epic Games announced the removal on Twitter , stating that Slurp Juice has been disabled while the Fortnite team figures out what the heck happened and how to fix it.
