Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Games Could End Up Delisted

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Games Could End Up Delisted

Bad news could be afoot for fans of Raven Software’s Marvel: Ultimate Alliance series. See, Activision has a rough history when it comes to licensed games, especially titles based on Marvel Comics properties. There’s a consistent pattern of, roughly two years into a game’s life, the title going on sale for a surprisingly low price across all platforms. Shortly after that, it vanishes into the ether until either it comes back later or… doesn’t. Unfortunately, this may be the case for both Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 .

These games were re-released in 2016, and time’s about up for that two-year window. Additionally, the set was recently on sale on the PlayStation Store for lower than it has been before. After that, both Steam and the Xbox Store saw similar sales. You can currently buy the titles for $15 bucks as a bundle or $10 individually. That’s 75% off, which is wild. Especially considering this is Activision we’re talking about here.

The precedent is here, as this has happened in the past to several Marvel games, such as Deadpool , as well as the likes of Transformers: Devastation and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD . It’s worth noting that the PlayStation Store prices went back to normal after the PSN flash sale ended, so this news should be taken as rumor, and with the appropriate grain of salt. Unfortunately, these things don’t generally get confirmed directly, so it won’t be gone until it’s gone. But hey, these games are pretty good, and now’s a pretty good time to snag ‘em.
