GOG Offering Extended Refunds on No Man’s Sky

GOG Offering Extended Refunds on No Man’s Sky

No Man’s Sky was supposed to be this big, revolutionary game about space exploration where players could colonize a procedurally-generated universe alongside others. Unfortunately, when the game came out, it felt featureless and empty. A later update added the ability to detect the presence of other players, which were displayed as orbs. In its NEXT update, players can actually see and interact with one another. It has been quite the journey but the game looks really good now. Unfortunately, not everyone who purchased the game has access to this update.

People who bought No Man’s Sky from GOG won’t be able to get the update until later in 2018, and Hello Games isn’t offering refunds to make it up to customers. GOG, however, is showing that loyalty is a two-way street by extending their refund policy for owners of No Man’s Sky.

Normally, there is a 30-Day money back guarantee. If customers are outside of that window, they can reach out to the customer support team at GOG, and they will refund the money to the customer’s wallet funds. The request has to be made by Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 10 PM UTC, though.
