Nintendo Reveals Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 3: Vehicle Kit

It’s far from over, when it comes to Nintendo’s Labo brand of maker-like projects based on cardboard kits, modular play, and family-oriented fun. A new “Toy-Con” kit has been announced, and this time it’s all about vehicle-based play. It’s called the Nintendo Labo Vehicle Kit, and each new part offers not only a different style of vehicle, but several new challenges.

There are five modules in the Vehicle Kit. There’s the Car, Pedal, Plane, Key, and Submarine. Many of these kits work in tandem with one another, as demonstrated in a new video paired with the announcement. We see a kid use the Car kit, which is a steering wheel with some levers, along with the Pedal and Key to drive around in all kinds of minigame-like activities.

The Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 3: Vehicle Kit comes out on September 14, 2018 and will cost $69.99. The kit comes with the game software, everything needed to put all the stuff together, and a couple extras for “customization.”
