Gran Turismo Sport’s July 2018 Update Detailed

Gran Turismo Sport’s July 2018 Update Detailed

The popular racer Gran Turismo Sport ‘s newest update will add multiple pieces of content, including new cars and a track. This will be update number 1.23 and is available for free to players of the game.

Notable car additions include the Mercedes F1, the Mazda 787B ’91, the HONDA S660 ’15 (N100), and five others. Cars will also be purchasable through the PlayStation Store, assuming they cost less than 2,000,000 of the in-game currency. Three new events will be coming to GT League as well. These events are the Lightweight K Cup, the Nostalgic Car Festival and Mercedes AMG Grand Prix.

The microtransactions are noteworthy, because microtransactions are typically a contentious issue. Gran Turismo Sport ‘s version of them is, perhaps, a little different, both because they come after the fact and the original way of unlocking the cars doesn’t appear to have changed. As such, microtransactions might just be an easier route for those who otherwise don’t have the time.

A complete list of the changes can be found on the game’s official site.
