The latest roster reveal for SNK and NIS America’s SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy is quite a doozy, to say the least. Fatal Fury star Terry Bogard has joined the roster, and uh, he has somehow been able to meet the requirements.
Yes, Terry Bogard has somehow transformed into a woman for his inclusion in the SNK Heroines roster. He seems just as confused about it as the rest of the game’s cast appears to be and I am. Most of the trailer accompanying the announcement is a bunch of panicky voice over work, fueled by some hilariously over the top voice acting on Terry’s part. Also, the hat says “Fatal Cutie” now, instead of “Fatal Fury,” and that’s just funny. Also, Terry is in booty shorts that are wide open, so there’s that.
In the game, all of Terry’s Signature moves are intact, but with the same kind of silly visual effects paired with them. Like they make cute stickers falling out of beaten opponents, rather than blood or sweat. Otherwise, moves like the infamous Buster Wolf look to be just as effective and dangerous as always.
