As we know, Skybound has been the executive force behind making sure Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season makes it to the finish line. It even brought back some of the original development. Still Not Bitten has released the third episode, and the fourth (and final) one is on the way. But then, what happens next? It seems like Skybound isn’t done with video games set in The Walking Dead universe.
This news comes from a tweet from the official The Walking Dead Twitter account. The profile sent a question out to fans, asking, “what kind of Walking Dead video game would you love to see get made? Asking for a friend.” Of course, Skybound’s official Twitter account shows up in the replies with the googly eyes emoji, telling us exactly who that “friend” is.
Before you get your hopes up for another episodic title, Skybound followed the emoji up with, “We’re looking for suggestions BEYOND existing games/series.” So while this doesn’t tell us what the fate of the Still Not Bitten crew is, it could be a slight nod to the possible future.
