Next Xbox Rumor Suggests 2 Models Will Appear at E3 2019

Next Xbox Rumor Suggests 2 Models Will Appear at E3 2019

The rumor mill is once again churning, when it comes to next generation consoles. This time, Microsoft is the target. JeuxVideo is reporting that there will be two next Xbox models revealed at E3 2019. These would allegedly be known as Anaconda and Lockhart, providing people two options when deciding which sort of system to pick. They would allegedly be released in 2020.

The two models basically seem like there is one that gives you the basics you need to enjoy next Xbox games, while the other is possibly an Xbox One X style model. Xbox Lockhart is the less intensive of the two, as it has custom NAVI 4+ Teraflops GPU and 12GB GDDR6 memory RAM. The Xbox Anaconda has 12+ Teraflops and 16GB of GDDR6 memory. Both have a 1TB SSD for storage and a CPU with custom 8 cores – 16 zen threads 2.

This is not the first time there have been rumors about multiple next Xbox variants. Back in July 2018 , there was a suggestion that there would be two models. The code name for the systems then were Scarlett and Scarlett Cloud, with one being a standard model and the other being more focused on streaming games.

E3 2019 will undoubtedly bring answers. Given the current state of things, a 2020 release window for the next Xbox seems reasonable, even if these rumors prove fake.
