Bruce Campbell Debunks MK11 DLC Rumor

Bruce Campbell Debunks MK11 DLC Rumor

Ash himself may have made a major internet leak obsolete. Back in April 2019, a datamine suggested four characters would be Mortal Kombat 11 DLC. Supposedly, the Joker, Spawn, the Terminator, and Evil Dead ‘s Ash would appear as playable characters. However, Bruce Campbell took to Twitter to say it isn’t so. He did so in a flashy fashion, of course.

On Twitter, Campbell shared a picture of himself in a Mortal Kombat fight. It showed him “winning” over internet rumors, declaring a flawless victory in his favor. It had him standing over a blood puddle that said, “Internet rumor about Ash being DLC in MK11. ” He then noted

Now, there are two options here. One is that the MK11 DLC rumor was false. Spawn, Joker, and Ash aren’t on the way. Campbell got a tip confirming it was inaccurate and shared it with the world. The other is that it is all still uncertain and even he doesn’t know. One would think he’d be called in to voice Ash for such an add-on, but you can never be sure. He doesn’t seem the type to debunk a rumor, then come back and go, “Haha! I got you!” It might be safe to consider it the final word for now.

Currently, the only add-on you can immediately purchase is Shao Kahn. Given her role in the story, it wouldn’t be surprising to see someone like Sheeva eventually.
