The New Tom Clancy Game Is Ghost Recon: Breakpoint

The New Tom Clancy Game Is Ghost Recon: Breakpoint

The Ghost Recon series is getting another installment. The new Tom Clancy game has been announced, and Ubisoft is pretty much picking up where Ghost Recon: Wildlands left off with Ghost Recon: Breakpoint . I mean that literally, as Cole D. Walker, from the Ghost Recon: Wildlands Operation Oracle mission, is the villain in this entry.

In Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Walker worked with Nomad’s team to get R&D Technical Director Daniel Rodriguez Arellano, a Skell Tech employee, out of Unidad custody. (He’s played by The Punisher and The Walking Dead ‘s Jon Bernthal.) Here, Lt. Colonel Walker is taking advantage of what Skell Tech has to offer. he has invaded Aurora Island, where the Skell Tech headquarters are, and taken it over with his Wolves. He is now using the drone technology for his own means. Fortunately, you are with a group of Ghosts, an elite US special operations group capable of taking him out.

Like Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint can be played alone or cooperatively. You have four different classes to choose from for your Ghost agent, and you can customize their loadout and appearance. The character you have in the campaign will also be used in PVP, including your skills and weapons. Stealth and camouflage will be important game elements, as you try to hide from your highly trained enemies. Since the Wolves were once US agents too, they will have the same sorts of skills as the Ghosts.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 4, 2019. (It will be an Epic Games Store exclusive on the PC.) It will have free updates after launch, as well as a year one season pass. A beta will also take place, though Ubisoft has not dated it yet.
