[E3 2019] Marvel’s Avengers: A-Day Dated

Square Enix closed out its E3 2019 with a bang. Its presser ended with major Avengers announcements. The Crystal Dynamics game has officially been dubbed Marvel’s Avengers: A-Day . A beta will be available for PlayStation 4 owners first, with preorders garnering access, then will roll out to other platforms. The full game will launch on May 15, 2020.

In Marvel’s Avengers: A-Day, a tragedy has torn the Avengers apart. After unveiling of a high-tech device and an experimental energy source goes wrong, there is a terrible accident and people are hurt. The team disbanded and super heroes were outlawed. Five years after the incident, Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hulk, and Thor will have to reunite. That’s where things pick up for the players.

The E3 2019 Marvel’s Avengers: A-Day trailer offers a synopsis of the story and shows the heroes in action.

Some other details were revealed too. A star-studded cast is present for the game. Nolan North will play Iron Man, Troy Baker will be Bruce Banner (the Hulk), Travis Willingham will be Thor, Laura Bailey will play Black Widow, and Jeff Schine will be Captain America.

This will also be a game where there is no additional investment. All future additions, like heroes, will be free. No loot boxes will be added. Square Enix has committed to no microtransactions. What people see is what they will get.

Marvel Avenger’s: A-Day will come to the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on May 15, 2020.
