[E3 2019] Final Fantasy VIII Remaster Announced

Square Enix’s quest to rerelease all of its Final Fantasy games on every possible platform is nearing an end. During the E3 2019 media briefing, a port of Final Fantasy VIII was announced. This will be called Final Fantasy VIII Remastered. Best of all, it will be arriving in 2019.

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered will be a multiplatform game. People will be able to pick it up on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.There is a noticeable visual upgrade, with improved textures and character models all present. This version will allow people to turn on abilities that triple the game’s speed, turns off encounters with enemies, and keeps characters health and ATB full. The PC version will also let you obtain all abilities, obtain all items, max out your Guardian Force level, max out your money, max out stock of all magic, get all special skills, or get all Triple Triad cards in an instant.

A Final Fantasy VIII Remastered E3 2019 trailer was released. It offers a look at the upgraded event scenes and gameplay segments. The new UI can also be seen in battle segments.

As a reminder, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered follows Squall, a student at a military academy. These teenagers are sent out around the world to act as mercenaries. After passing and being able to take on missions, Squall and his friends end up being tasked with a mission to assassinate a sorceress. They end up on a journey that will take them around the world and reveal truths about sorceresses and themselves.
