Epic Games Store Gives Away Free Batman Games

Epic Games Store Gives Away Free Batman Games

While there is still plenty of animosity toward Epic Games and its storefront online, there’s one way in which the company is trying to wear people down. It has been continually offering free games to people, and the latest batch is one of the biggest and most notable. People can now get free Batman games from the storefront until September 26, 2019. Six are available!

How did this happen? It’s because the two Epic Games Store free games for the week are two compilations. The Mature-rated Batman: Arkham Collection , which gives people Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight , is one. The other is the family-friendly Lego Batman Trilogy . This includes Lego Batman, Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, and Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham .

The two collections are being offered because Epic Games has a policy with its weekly free games. If there is a title that is is rated Mature for ages 18 and over, it then offers a second all-ages option for people who wouldn’t be able to get and enjoy it. Previously, this happened when Inside, another Mature-rated game, was offered. For people who couldn’t get that, the Epic Games Store also offered free copies of Celeste . If someone is of the right ages, that means they can go ahead and claim both games!

Normally, each of these collections can still cost $60 each. That means if someone heads to the Epic Games Store, they’re getting $120 worth of great titles in one fell swoop. All you have to do to claim them is create an account and download the launcher. Once you call dibs on the free Batman games, they’re yours for, well, as long as Epic’s storefront exists.
