Big news for The Last of Us: Part II! The game finally has a release date. On February 21, 2020, we’ll see what’s next for Ellie and Joel. That’s right, it’s confirmed that the two will be heading out on an adventure to perhaps get revenge for something that happened to Ellie’s girlfriend. In addition, different editions were revealed.
Naturally, there’s a standard edition. This is $59.99 and gets you the physical or digital copy. Preordering gives you an Ammo Capacity Upgrade and Crafting Training Manual in-game. The digital copy also comes with a PSN avatar of Ellie’s tattoo. Spend $10 more, and you’ll get a Digital Deluxe Edition. This also includes a digital mini art book from Dark Horse, a digital soundtrack, six PSN avatars, and a PS4 dynamic theme.
There are two collector’s editions on the way too. The cheaper of the two is a $169.99 Collector’s Edition with the game, the Digital Deluxe Edition’s extras, one lithograph art print, five stickers, six pins, a replica of Ellie’s bracelet, a 12” Ellie statue of her playing her guitar, and a Steelbook case with Ellie on it for your game. If someone spends $229.99, you can get The Last of Us: Part II Ellie Edition. That includes everything from the normal Collector’s Edition, then adds in its soundtrack on a record, an embroidered patch, and a replica of Ellie’s backpack.
In the meantime, people will have a chance to play The Last of Us again. The Last of Us: Remastered will be one of the two October 2019 PlayStation Plus games.
