Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 2 Kicks Off

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 2 Kicks Off

With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Infinity Ward and Activision have been gradually rolling out new content in seasons. Now, in February 2020, the second season of the game has begun.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season Two begins with a lot of things immediately available. Ghost has been added as an Operator. You can get the Grau 5.56 and Striker 45 guns. Atlas Superstore and Rust have been added as Multiplayer maps, with Rust also appearing as a Gunfight map. Zhokov Boneyard is the new Ground War map. There is also a CDL Playlist. Everyone has access to it all right now, with both the free and paid Battle Pass tiers giving people access to new things. The two new guns, 300 COD Points, weapon charms, and calling cards are a part of the free tiers. Ghost, an Operator Mission, 1,300 COD Points, operator skins, challenges, XP blueprints, weapon blueprints, and watches are a part of the 100-tier paid Battle Pass.

As the season goes on, even more will be added. A new weapon is going to appear. Mace and Talon will be added as Operators in the Modern Warfare Store. Gunfights can head to a Bazaar map and a Khandor Hideout will show up as a Multiplayer map. People will also get to take part in Gunfight Tournaments, Gunfight variants, NVG Reinforce, and Infected Ground War. An extra gun and more Multiplayer modes will also eventually appear.

There’s also quite a tease. A cinematic trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare season two ends with a hint at a battle royale mode. We see a giant map with all sorts of buildings and a crashed plane at an airport. We also see a plane flying in and dropping soldiers, which presumably would be players.

Finally, there are various bug fixes and rebalancing issues. Weapons like the crossbow have been adjusted and fixed, Operation Harbinger has been fixed, Call of Duty League’s Specialist restrictions have been lifted, and some PC, keyboard and mouse, and COD Caster issues have been remedied.
