Speculation has it that Xbox 360’s version of Final Fantasy XI may not be playable without the hard drive. Why? The PC and PS2 versions of the game are extremely reliant on the hard drive to store character information and content updates. Hundreds of megabytes of information are needed for the game and just may not be possible without a hard drive. Interesting to note, but we will let you know when we have confirmed information.
