We reported earlier that the Chinese government has imposed a three-hour time limit on online games (see our previous coverage ). Not surprisingly, Chinese players are upset about the rule and have begun an internet petition to protest the action. Over 1,000 gamers have already signed the petition.
“These restrictions violate the rights of online game players,” one Chinese gamer wrote in the petition. “Trying to prevent young players from being addicted is good, but this new system will be a total failure.”
