Marty Turco, Dallas Stars All-Star goalie, has been announced the new cover athlete and official spokesperson for NHL 2K6.
Turco won two NCAA Championships in 1996 and 1998, four Frozen Four appearances, and the NCAA record for career victories (127) while playing for the University of Michigan. At the time, he was considered the top goalie in NCAA history. After being drafted to the Dallas Stars, Turco was elected to the All-Star Game twice and leads the NHL with the lowest GAA (1.90) and best save percentage (.925).

You can pick up your copy of the game in fall of 2005. The game will be available for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and Xbox 360. The game will cost $29.99 for the PS2 and Xbox and $59.99 for the Xbox 360.
