THQ announced WWE Smackdown! vs. Raw 2006 is currently in development for the PlayStation 2.
The game will be similar to last year’s WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw, but is hoping to be more realistic with several new features. A “momentum system” will recreate the emotional atmosphere of wrestling matches and a “stamina system” will express the exhaustion that is experienced while wrestling. Online playing is also said to have new components and functions.
The game will be available to purchase this fall for $49.99. No rating has been given to the game yet.
