New PSP Games From Sony Coming Before Christmas

New PSP Games From Sony Coming Before Christmas

None

Sony released the PSP, but many gamers were starting to wonder if they were going to release any games for the PSP. Good news, gamers. If you are sick of MLB or Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee (or never wanted to play them in the first place), Sony has announced six new titles to be released for the handheld console by mid-November.

September 13 sees the first new release, MediEvil Resurrection. The game is a sequel to a PS1 game originally released in 2000. The game is rated T for Teen.

Gretzky NHL 06 will be coming out on October 4, around the same time that the long-awaited real NHL season is set to begin. Gretzky NHL 06 is an extremely appropriate name for the game as it seems you may not even need to have any other players on your roster. Wayne vs. Wayne mode allows gamers to play with one Wayne, two Waynes, or even a teamful of Waynes (or you can play with no Waynes in this mode). The game is rated E10+ for Everyone Ten and Older.

If hockey isn’t your thing, NBA 06 is coming to the console on the same date. Five-on five gameplay, dodgeball, and horse are few of the modes you can play in. Sorry, no Michael vs. Michael mode. The game will also feature a new “clutch” shooting mechanism and a revamped play-calling system. The game is rated E for everyone.

October 18 will see the release of Sony’s The Con. The game throws players into an underground fighting scene and lets them build a team of fighters to punch, kick, and gamble (yes, gamble) their way through the story. The Con is rated T for Teen.

SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo is released on November 8 and allows players to fight their way through fourteen military missions.

And last but not least, Kingdom of Paradise will be out on November 15. The RPG places gamers as Shinbu and allows them to customize his fighting style and create their own combos.

No rating is know for Fireteam Bravo or Kingdom of Paradise yet.
