Sony has announced a recall of certain AC adaptors that came with the slimline PlayStation after realizing that they may overheat and cause injury. They have discovered about forty cases of adaptors overheating and melting in North America. Around 960, 000 units were sold in North American, 2.3 units in Europe and 60,000 units in Japan.
