Namco has announced they will be creating a Xenosaga Episode III that will be the last in the series.
The game will take place one year after Episode II. Shion has resigned from her job as chief engineer of Vector Corporation’s R&D Division, but she then discovers that the company is involved in the destructive Gnosis Phenomenon. She begins to work with an secret organization called Scientia that is working to expose Vector’s evil doings.
There will be two modes to the game: character battle that allows three-member parties to fight against enemies and robot battle where they fight huge machines.
JR, KOS-MOS, and Ziggy will all return to Xenosaga Episode III. No release date has been announced.
