Rockstar Sued Again Over Grand Theft Auto

None

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is back on shelves and just when you thought the ruckus surrounding it may finally die down, another mother in St. Clair County, Illinois has filed a lawsuit against Rockstar. She alleges that Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company, “failed to disclose to consumers material facts about the sexually explicit content of GTA and provided misleading and deceptive information that GTA was an M rated game rather than an AO…The unlawful method, act, or practice has caused economic loss and damage to plaintiff.”  Brenda Stanhouse, the plaintiff, had purchased the game for her teenagers knowing the M rating. Yet, she was upset when she learned the game was given an AO rating after the Hot Coffee mod was found in it. She took the game away from her kids. We will keep you posted if we find out more info.
