Best Buy Selling Used Games?

Best Buy Selling Used Games?

None

Best Buy has decided to test two stores in Illinois and two stores in California to see if selling used games would be profitable for the company. Each store will be selling up to 5,000 used games. Gamers will be able to trade used games in for store credit. This seems like a good plan since Best Buy has many more products to choose from than Gamestop or Electronics Boutique who also have a used game market. Gamers could trade in old games for CDs, DVDs, TVs, or whatever other merchandise is available in Best Buy.

Used game sales earn $800 million a year. This rising number has many developers and publishers worried because they make no profit off used games.
