A new software product for the PSP will allow user to transfer home videos, DVDs, and tapes onto their PSP. Video Vault, developed by Diversified Multimedia, will allow all of this and more. Some of the features include:

-Transfer DVDs, VCDs, SVCDs, and analog/digital camcorder tapes

-Import AVI, Mpeg1, Mpeg2, Mpeg4, ASF, WMV, DVR-MS, TIVO and more file types

-Auto-fit Card technology fits 2-3 hour movies to 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, and larger memory stick pro cards

-Organizes a user’s collection by filtering and sorting by custom genres and allows the user to add his own thumbnails

-Lets users overlay subtitles on top of video

-Includes complete audio and subtitle language selection

-Able to manage PSP memory stick directly within Video Vault when connected to PSP

-Supports 320 x 240 or 480 x 160 PSP resolutions
