id Software has announced the Quake 4 has gone gold and will be available for purchase on October 19. The game begins where Quake II left off. Michael Kane, a member of the Rhino Squad, is on a mission to kill the Strogg forever. The game will feature a new multiplayer mode similar to the Quake III Arena.
