Devin Moore, the twenty-year old who shot and killed two police officers and a dispatcher in Alabama, was sentenced to death. Moore blamed the killings on his obsession with the Grand Theft Auto series.
The Associated Press reports that Moore showed no emotion when he heard the sentence, but he did apologize to the victims’ families earlier.
“I am so sorry. I hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive me,” Moore stated.
A lawsuit against Take-Two (maker of GTA), SCEA, Wal-Mart, and GameStop is still pending.
