Nintendo Announces Death of GameCube

Nintendo Announces Death of GameCube

None

The GameCube was supposed to sell 2.8 million units for Nintendo this year, but has not met its expectations. Nintendo has blamed the console for it’s loss in first-half profits and has consequently lowered it’s full-year sales target. This loss means that the GameCube may be nearer to the end of it’s life than previously expected.

“The big drop for GameCube games was in North America. It looks like the product’s life is nearing its end,” Yoshihiro Mori, Nintendo’s Senior Managing Director, announced at a news conference in Osaka.

GameCube owners, this may be your hint to start saving for a Revolution.
