EA has announced The Sims 2 Holiday Edition. The game is a special holiday-themed edition of the best-selling game The Sims 2.
The game will be available for a limited time only. It will include The Sims 2 plus forty new holiday items that allow the Sims to celebrate in style! They will be able to decorate the house, serve a holiday dinner, orchestrate a visit from Santa, and host a rocking New Year’s party!
“The appeal of playing The Sims 2 is that the game is what you make it,” commented Senior Producer Tim LeTourneau. “Players enjoy participating in all the ups and downs of their Sims’ lives, from the big things like falling in love or building and decorating their house to the memorable things like putting up their family’s first Christmas tree and hosting a holiday dinner. Even mundane details like ordering a pizza or fixing the toilet are humorous and fun. The Sims 2 is designed to make even the ordinary extraordinarily entertaining!”
The game will also be available in The Sims 2 Holiday Party Pack with only the additional content for those who already own The Sims 2. The game is rated T for Teen and will be available on November 17.
