Microsoft has announced that Xbox Live and Xbox.com will be unavailable for twenty-four hours on October 24 while they undergo maintenance and preparation for respective relaunches.
Xbox.com is set to receive a whole new look with more emphasis on the Xbox 360. Users will be able to use a new My Xbox feature that will integrate Xbox 360, Xbox Live and Xbox.com. Xbox 360 users will be able to view 360 gamer cards for themselves and their friends. Gamers will also be able to see if their friends are online.
Xbox Live “will also be ready to support all the great new Xbox 360 features.”
The services should be up and running again on October 25.
